Born in 1962, Tessa grew up in the outskirts of Barcelona, in one of the many satellite cities mainly inhabited by the so-called Xarnegos. In her early twenties she co-founded and worked in a co-operative dedicated to the production of ceramic parts and supplies gaining a lot of technical experience. More than 25 years after this initiation she returned to earthen materials, this time with an artistic approach, something she always wanted to do.

Tessa has exposed works in Hospitalet and Barcelona and some of her pieces have traveled as far as Australia, Berlin, Montpellier and New York. To publish a first website is a proclamation and invitation: The work has evolved into something more than a hobby, Tessa is a ceramist and you may visit her in her studio in the Poblenou quarter of Barcelona.
