A collection of weather resistant stoneware heads. The unique heads exposed on this page are free works and follow no model. Most of the heads belong to my “learning period”. I’ve started sculpturing in clay back in 2011 and in 2012 I moulded my first heads and there’s more to it, I’ve never been in the art business before, starting with all of that around the tender age of 50.
Archimboldi refers to the main character of the novel 2066 by Roberto Bolaño and Giuseppe Arcimboldo, an Italian renaissance painter known for his imaginary heads made out of fruits and vegetables.
